Our commitment
My Roadster wants everyone to be able to enjoy the Site, including people who use assistive technologies. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with landmarks, a logical heading order and a "Skip to content" link;
- Full keyboard support with clearly visible focus indicators;
- Text and interface colors that meet WCAG AA contrast ratios against the dark background;
- Touch targets of at least 44 × 44 pixels;
- Descriptive labels for buttons, form fields and interactive diagrams, with form errors shown next to the field;
- Respect for the "reduce motion" setting on your device — animations are switched off when it is enabled;
- Responsive layouts that work from small phones to large desktops and support browser zoom up to 400%.
Known limitations
Decorative illustrations (such as the animated roadster drawing and route sketches) are hidden from screen readers because the same information is available as text. Some third-party sites we link to may not meet the same standards.
Compatibility
The Site is designed to work with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge) and with common screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS.
Feedback and assistance
If you run into an accessibility barrier, or need any content in a different format, please email [email protected] with the subject "Accessibility." Tell us the page and the problem, and we will try to respond within 5 business days.
Ongoing review
We review the Site's accessibility as we add new content and features, and we will update this statement as things improve.
